Hans Christian Andersen HAUS

Museum installations

Hans Christian Anderson Museum

Odense - Denmark

To mark the opening of Hans Christian Andersen’s House, a new museum in the Danish city of Odense, we were tasked with creating a series of animated installations to celebrate the life and work of the author through a dark, experimental re-imagining of his most famous fairy tales.’ Agile Studios.

I was invited to join the Agile team as an environment generalist for this project. I was responsible for all aspects of the three rooms featured in the ‘Tinder Box’ story installation. Tasks included model, texture, lookdev, lighting, rendering, layout and slaps comps. Layout included Houdini simulations for coins piles which were developed into a set of meshes that I placed around the scenes.

Tools used: Maya, Arnold, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Houdini, Nuke, Zbrush.
