Set Mo

After Dark Vol.1

In April 2017, I got the chance to collaborate with Set Mo once again for their Latest EP; After Dark Vol.1. The EP marked a shift from their usual summery vocals to a late night club vibe. 

We wanted to match the shift in musical tone and devised a series of animations that would draw the viewer in with hypnotic rhythms. Using depth maps we took out all the colour and stripped it back to a monochromatic aesthetic that fit with the branding of the duo as well as suiting the stripped back house sounds of the tracks. 

It's always fun collaborating with the Set Mo guys and although these animations started out as small promo clips we might just have to develop them into something a bit bigger in the future ;)
