SAFIA 'INTERNAL'

ALBUM ART

As well as the stage design for Safia's live show, we were asked to create artwork for Safia's debut album and two of the lead singles. The artworks depict monochrome sculptures with vibrant agate crystal patterns visible through cracks and slices in the stone. I was involved in the creation of all three images for this project and my own design was chosen for the 'Internal' album cover.

We used 3D photoscan's as a base for our images and then kit bashed and re-modelled parts to achieve the desired look we wanted. For 'Make Them Wheels Roll' I reposed the model to match our desired composition and then sliced and UV'd the model before handing it over to be textured and lit. 'My Love Is Gone' was a combination of two photoscanned models. These two models became the base of the pose which then had addition hair modelled onto it as well as the spherical pattern cut out of the chest.
