SAFIA - COUNTING SHEEP

LIVE VISUALS

As part of the visual suite we created for Safia's 2016 Live Tour I got to create the animation for 'Counting Sheep'. The track is iconic for Safia and we wanted to make sure the visuals stood out as much as the song does. The clip is centered around a sleep walking spirit who slips between dream and nightmare states.  As the little guy marches his way through the landscape his surroundings come to life and dance along to the hypnotic rhythm of the track.

This clip was a great challenge as i used the opportunity to teach myself character rigging and animation as well as try my hand at Substance Painter. It was a tough clip to complete but was incredibly rewarding to see it get a great reception on stage.
